Notes and reminders from the 11/1 Booster Club Meeting

Booster Meeting Minutes

November 1, 2016

 

Meeting held in conjunction with the coach’s parent/player pre try out meeting. 

 

1.   Booster club fees for 2016-17 Season are $675 per player. The first half of the payment is collected at the Face Off Dinner. The second half is collected the first week in January.   

2.   Poinsettia sales sheets distributed.  Each player will sell 10 plants.  The buyout amount is $150 if you choose not to sell the plants.  Orders due November 22.  Plants picked up at Eisle’s Greenhouse between 4-5pm on November 28. 

3.   Open volunteer positions: We still need volunteers for several positions including chuck a puck and carb dinners, information and sign up is on the website.

4.   Restaurant nights:  Jeanne Lombardi is coordinating these events.  We will send out emails several days before the event. 

5.   Duluth Trip:  there are a block of rooms reserved for parents at The Inn on Lake Superior.  Look for an email immediately following tryouts to reserve your rooms.  All accommodations for the players and coaches are taken care of by the Booster Club. 

6.   Game Program Ads:  Each player must sell $150 in ads.  All ads are due by November 20th.  Contact John and Mary Gale with any questions.

7.   Cub Bagging:  There are still spots open for bagging between 10 am and 6 pm on November 20th at the Apple Valley location. Players must all sign up for a time.  Jeanne will be creating a sign up genius for this event and distributing for sign up and reminders.

8.   Reminder that you must register your player for hockey.  This is done through the Fee Pay system.  Please contact the Athletic Department at the high school with any issues.

9.   Tryouts; All dates are on the calendar on the website.  Players must be registered and have their teacher forms into Coach Sikich before they can participate in try outs.
